We all know that we need to eat healthier; actually doing it is the hard part. And deep down, we all know that a 5-day juice cleanse, a 10-day sugar detox or a 30-day carb fast isn't a sustainable answer to improving eating habits or long-term health, because most people who try these quick-fixes end up right back where they started.

Spoiler Alert

There aren't any "secrets" to healthier eating, and so-called superfoods won't magically make you healthy. The key to changing the way you eat for good is, simply, to practice over time. With You & Co. Health and Wellness Coaching, you'll get one-on-one nutrition coaching as well as access to optional paid services to help you with this journey.

 

Option 1

If you believe slow and steady wins the race (it does—at least when it comes to habits), you can opt into a year-long online nutrition coaching program, ProCoach. Option 2

If a less structured, shorter-term jump-start is what you need, I can work with you to create customized meal-plans that will help you get in the habit of planning ahead, choosing more nutritious food options, and preparing delicious, nutritious meals for you and your family. Get a weekly meal plan with detailed shopping list, calorie counts and nutrient details (if desired) in a clean, easy-to-use format. Your specific dietary needs are taken into consideration. Gluten-free? Dairy-free? Hate kale? No problem!

The Bottom Line

This much is clear: good eating habits are key to a healthy life, and the only way to develop healthy habits is to work on them, step by step. I know there's a lot of conflicting and confusing information out there on what to eat, how much to eat, even when to eat. I've tried a lot of those restrictive diets too, with no lasting results. Stop chasing after short-term, unsustainable results.
